W. D. Hawthorne b. Dec 28 1890 d. May 1964 relations / decendants / information?

Question

Hi, my name is Emanuel (Manny) Hawthorne, a new member,  I am looking for assistance in accurately charting my family WikiTree; and searching for family relatives (as I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, well versed in Genealogy Research). I was born November 13, 1952,up the Dough Road (sp.?) in Newtownabbey/Whiteabbey, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Now living in Canada.  Married to Debra (Applin) Hawthorne b. December 27, 1958 in Montreal, Quebec. Any assistance and/or information would be very much appreciated.  Manny

The  1930 census lists a W.D. Hawthorne born in Kansas.  His wife was listed as Grace W.  (An ancestry.com public tree lists her as Grace Wilbert Freeman.)  She was born in Mississippi; her father in Georgia; her mother in Tennessee.  W.D.'s and Grace's ages were listed as 37 and 36.  They were the only two listed.  An earlier census showed her to be still living at home at age 26, but I have not found when they were married.  His father was born in Virginia, his mother in South Carolina according to the census form.
