Consistency Checker Family Tree 8

I run the family tree consistency checker on my Ancestry Fanily Tree, which has many of my WIKI-tree ancestors (and whimsical maybe's).

When I come across an inconsistency such as parent too old or to young for child or marriage at too early an age I usually try to resolve it by research or checking WIKItree entries as these seem better sourced than others.

However there are many cases where the inconsistency is the same in WIKItree, such as a marriage at 15 or a father at age 12, and often these are older protected profiles.  What is the appropriate action in such cases? I can just choose to ignore the inconsistency and let it be; I could enter a comment that may not be welcomed.  In general I don't have right to edit such profiles and have no source for better data other than it is an inconsistent fact

Dear Ralph,

If I see something that is really odd on a protected profile, I sometimes leave a public message on the profile.  By asking if there might be a typo in, say, the marriage date, I can frequently get an answer from someone who knows about current research questions.

    Research is usually underway!   -NGP

Ralph, I guess you don't know about the DBErrors project on WikiTree. You can check it out here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Database_Errors

And for all profiles, that you manage http://wikitree.sdms.si/function/WTWebUser/errors.htm?UserID=9959653
