I have evidence of Elijah Trim in court in 1798 as indentured person in Tenn. My husband is direct male decendent. The information that is in the LDS was a project from a person doing either a HS or College project who gathered information with no evidence at the time. I spoke to her personally. There is so much in LDS that does not have source background regrettably that is why they now have commetary sections available because they know of fraud cases and such. I spoke to several people that were taking a leap of faith on the heritage of Elijah Trim. I would love to have contact with family members that actually have record sources as to whence he came.
