Missing all blood relations

Question

Somehow all my Hogbin relations say no blood relationship. I know for a fact they are. They show as unconnected to me. How can I fix this.

Is it through your maternal ancestors or paternal ancestors? Can the connection be illustrated? Do you have a time frame and locations that would be convincing?

I'm not quite sure what you mean.  When I look at your tree from your profile it shows Hogbin relations.  Are you talking about DNA relationship or somewhere other than WikiTree or what?  What have you done so far to make connections?

Yes it does show hogbin on my trees, but when I've checked on related to me, they mostly say no connection found. Also other ancestors in my trees,it says no connection found.

Not only on maternal side. Every ancestor I've checked on says the same thing.

There are close to 100 people who have submitted Y-DNA or mtDNA or both who have my surname, but It looks like I'm not related to any of them.

You might want to research back further at familysearch.org to see how many of your ancestors can be found. That could open the door to a connection.

I already have. Also geni.com, ancestry. com, my family trees.com. Also personal records and information from other family members doing research.

On WikiTree, the relationship finder shows James, Felix, and Joseph as Hogbin grandfathers.

What are you actually doing to find the relationships? You haven't said anything about DNA here.

Yes, it does now, but last night and this morning all connections were gone.

I don't need a DNA test. My other family members who have been researching our family trees for years, have the same information I do.

A lot of things only run once a day on WikiTree.  So if you make a connection and then ask how that person is related to you try waiting a day before getting worried.

Thanks. They've all been there. I don't know what happened. One day connected, next day not connected.
