Looking for info on Jesse E. Hogan

Question

I am looking for info on my great-grandfather, Jesse E. Hogan.  He was born in June of 1891 in Illinois and passed away in June of 1943 in Chicago Illinois.  His parents were Edward and Minnie Hogan(Moody). He was married to Edna Hill and had 3 children, Claude, Jessie B, and Cora.  I know he worked for a railroad in Cairo or Thebes.  He left his family and I'm trying to see if anyone maybe has a picture of him or info about his life after he left his family. Any help would be appreciated.
