Keith: Wrong tag "Austria", not "Australia", but should probably be "Österreich".
I don't believe I put the tag on, think the site did that.

Also if I used Österreich I don't think anyone would find it.

But I will include it on the page itself, and all sub pages willl have there Austrian name also.

Thanks
Doug, you should be able to change the tag to Austria.

I think I missing something here.

Austrian is not Australia

I have no tags that say Australia,

Al least I don't think I have any, I'm confused???

Where is it.

Your question had a tag "Australia" added after you posted it. It has been corrected in the meantime.

A while ago, I made a suggestion that we could do with some more variety in our Relationship Finder Quick Links page. The answer I got was essentially, "Good idea. Send us lists." So since then, I've been researching lists of people like Prime Ministers of Canada, Prime Ministers of Australia, astronauts, and so on. But, of course, to fit in with my point in that thread, which was that we need connection lists for countries which speak languages other than English, people who speak those languages would need to help out.

In the case of Austria, a list of Austrian presidents would fit the bill nicely. The most recently deceased president of Austria (that I've found, anyway) is Thomas Klestil. But to make a useful connection list, we need a whole string of people in an office, all connected to the main tree, and preferably each with a family tree extending back at least as far as their grandparents. (The farther, the better.)

Has the Austria Project been working on adding and connecting Notable Austrians, and specifically presidents?

Has the Austria Project been working on adding and connecting Notable Austrians, and specifically presidents?

Not that I'm aware of, but feel free to get this started.

There were 12 presidents of the first (1918-1938) and second republic (1945--now), see https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_Bundespr%C3%A4sidenten_der_Republik_%C3%96sterreich

The german version of this wiki article has the dates and placed of birth/death.
