has father Nils Jonnson,mother Christine Abrahamsdotter.Where did you

get her birth record July 1878.I did see 2 immigration records but difficult

to read, in 1901 & 1902.

In my family searching, I have found that before 1901 ? she would have been Clara Nilsdotter, not Nilsson.

Unmarried woman only became xxxxxson once married.  My great grandfather was Olaf Nilsson, his sister was Anna Nilsdotter.

After 1901, this Swedish custom was dropped and all children kept family name.
