I'm try to use the app that connects with FamilySearch & need help

I'm signed in to both accounts -- what do I do next??

Hi Pat, It should then automatically load your watchlist underneath.
It should show the FamilySearch IDs and the option to create a match.
OK, I've got it working -- but what does finding a match accomplish??

FamilySearch doesn't seem to have much info except dates and places.


Well, it does seem of minimal value at first -- kind of static. When you make the link, it adds a connection from the WikiTree side back to the FS info. This could reveal clues. Active WikiTreers probably go straight to FamilySearch to do their looking.
