Can I edit a new profile I created for my English Quaker ancestors

I followed the instructions to create a free space profile for English Quakers for my gallery, but typed "Englash" instead of "English", a typo error

Can it be corrected?

Hi Steven, nice to meet you :)

On the profiles and free-space pages you are manager of or on the trusted-list for, you should find a large green "Edit" button (center screen, 2nd from the left). You can also find the option from the drop-down lists on the top-right of the profile where it's ID# is indicated; that drop-down list also provides the option to "Edit".

Once on the edit screen you can make changes such as the spelling adjustment you wish this time.  Explain or make notes about the changes you made in the space provided (center page on person-profiles) then click to save changes.

If a person-profile is older than 1700 one needs a Pre-1700 badge to edit.

Here is the WikiTree Help: Edit-Profile Page

I hope this helps... have a great day!

I have an entirely different answer for you if I read your post differently than I did the first time...

If you mean that you created the page with an incorrect spelling and now it has been created and the URL is misspelled etc...

You can edit the page name from the edit page and that is what will display and show up in searches, but it will not change the spelling in the URL.

To do that you would need to create a new page with the correct spelling.

Cheers!

Steven,

I just did a search of free spaces at https://cse.google.com/cse/publicurl?cx=003048598688029858478:e-amlq_p4my for the word Englash and received zero returns so you must have figured it out.  I too have made typo errors while creating free spaces.  The easiest fix is to create a new free space with the correctly typed name and then merge the incorrectly named space into the new correctly typed space.  Here are directions for merging spaces http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:MergeSpace.

Absolutely. If you need any assistance with that, feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to help. Oh, and don't feel bad about typos.  I am the queen of typos.
