You could download a GEDCOM from the other site and then upload it here but I would at least try and create a couple of profiles on here first so that you can see what is involved with the way things are done here. Most GEDCOM's do not transfer the sources well and any pictures you have on the other site would have to be added here later as well so with the work to move it and then edit it later most of us who have done that will tell you that it is just as easy and you will wind up with a better profile to just start over adding everything by hand again here.

And adding the stuffy by hand will give you the opportunity to look at all the sources and connections which you might not have been as careful about as you would be now and you may notice some glaring gaps your could fill or ask someone here to fill for you.

Beware of the cleanup involved when using gedcoms. I did that in the beginning and regret it now...

It depends on what you consider work. I tried doing a gedcom upload and i hated it.I was tedious and boring.  So now I create  profiles 1 by 1. My tree is 116 years old, so lots of profiles needed some updates.  I actually enjoy doing this because I think my tree is much better now than before.  I've done this with over 1400 profiles since November.
