My adoptive sister just had her dna done at Family Tree DNA.  I have done extensive genealogy research on my adoptive family.  How do I create a separate wikitree for this family?

Thanks.  My email is pattew "at" rockbridge.net6

I edited your question to change the email address so it doesn't look like an email address, so it doesn't get picked up by internet trollers (spambots). Also you really don't need it in there at all. (You can edit the question) You will receive a reply through your email whenever someone responds to the question.

What is important?

If you should track DNA and have her connected with the DNA data displayed in Wikitree you should not use the non-biological option see my test of the non-biological settings ...

Drop down menus (Upper right corner) > Add > Add Person

Simply start a new branch with your sister (ask her permission to start with her assuming she's still living) or she could join and create her own profile to attach her dna information to. Then you build from there.

You could also start with her nearest deceased relation, but I think it's preferable to start with her because the DNA results are hers.

To summarize the steps needed, Get permission, if needed, to enter one of your adoptive family.  Second enter that person as Anne describes.  Third mention the person from your adoptive family in your biography (Include the WikiTree ID of this person.  Forth and or fifth, Expand this new tree and connect it if necessary to the Worldwide tree and contact members of the tree to see if they're interested in helping.
