Looking for information on German Immigrants to South Africa? Surnames of interest Wagner and Ehret.

Thanks to Frank & Helmut :) You assistance is much appreciated.  I am particularly interested in:

Ernst Gustav Wagner:  I have sourced some unverified information indicating that he was manager of the Liederkrans Club in Johannesburg in the early 1900's. He moved to Johannesburg from Winburg in the Free State where he lived during the Anglo Boer War. I do not know if Ernst was born in South Africa or in Germany and am confused by information that an Ernst Gustav Wagner arrived in South Africa about 100 years before I calculate the Ernst I am interested in was born....

What I know for sure is that he was an accountant, was married to Jeanette Mann (a scots woman from Aberdeen) and had three daughters one of whom was my grandmother.

Hans Frederik Kurt Ehret: I need information on his parents and family who were from Stuttgart, Germany.  He emigrated to South Africa in the 1920's.  I have lovely photographs of family members in Germany captioned with only first names and do not know their relationship to Hans.

Any help would be much appreciated

If you do an internet search on German Society in South Africa you may also be able to find some contact details that may be useful.
