Looking for my 4x g-grandfather Ruel Aldrich (1804-1883)

Question

My name is Debbie Aldrich. I have hit a wall in my search for information on the parents and ancestors of Ruel Aldrich born about 1804 either in R.I. or MA. Ruel was married to Mary Ann Marsh and gave birth to Ruel Jr (1832), who is the faher of my GG-Grandfather Edwin, who fathered George Walter Aldrich (1887) who fathered my Dad Jerrold George Aldrich (1920), Any information on Ruel Aldrich ( b.1804) his parents ans siblings, and any other ancestors will be greatly appreciated.
