Father of Person b. 1770's Needs Open Privacy

Question

Humphrey-3531, b. was born in the 1770.  Father Private.  I can't see the name or Profile #, nor can I see the name of Profile Manager, so I can't ask for the privacy to be opened.

Hi Vic,

That is bad. As old profiles of persons that old should be open anyway. Hmm. I took a look at the editpage but you can t edit/delete the father or do anything.

 

I suggest you repost your question and tag the Tree House as more people will read your question or contact Leaders or Rangers, asking what to do.

You can e-mail the team at info@wikitree.com (or Paul Bech directly: paul@) when you see this sort of thing.

The father is marked as still living. It could be a mistake, i.e. a living person connected to a long-dead person mistakenly, in which case opening the living person is not the right thing to do. This is why it takes a human being looking at each individual situation, unfortunately.

By the way, another approach, rather than contacting the team, would be to contact the profile managers of the child. They can see the parents' profiles, even if they don't manage them.
