Obtaining Volunteer Badge

Question

Sandra Davidson was invited by family member (me) and had the "family member" badge. But then she signed the Honor Code and lost the family member badge and received the "Genealogist" Badge. How does she get the family member badge back and apply to be a volunteer as well. Or how does that work?

The system is an attempt to keep out vandals and spambots, but none of that applies to people who're invited in.  The Genealogist badge is full membership.

Thanks, I thought they had to go through the same process as everyone else with volunteering and tags. Family members with the Family member badge have too. Was surprised is all, that she bypassed all that.

Hi Dorothy,

As RJ said, if you invite a family member they don't need to volunteer and be confirmed. You've already confirmed them, so they don't have to volunteer.

If she wants the volunteer badge she could just e-mail info@wikitree.com.
