Help, another GEDCOM mess, but I created it this time. [closed]

Question

When I uploaded my GEDCOM in 2013 the profile for Albert Herringtom was created and somewhere along the line the wrong parents were attached. while trying to clean up and add sources I discovered that his "father" died about 32 years before he and his brother were born. I do believe that the father should be the grandfather but I have, so far, been unable to find the missing father.

Anyone else want to try to fix this? the profile is open so if you find something I would really appreciate the help here.

The dates fit but I am unsure about the given name.

I even messed up Albert's birth location. for that date there was no West Virginia, it was still part of Virginia

I do not remember where the month and date came from but the year is from the 1850 and 1880 census records. I think I found his father, the name is John, but just not the John I had on there.

So Albert Herrington did not die April 30, 1920 in East Liverpool, Columbina County, Ohio, United States of America ? Or do you mean Albert Herrington's father (who may or may not be John Herrington)?

Albert's death date is correct and his birth date is at least very close based on the sources. His fathers death date make it impossible for him to be the father. There is a record of a "Jno" Herrington with dates that could work as well as being married to Albert's mother so that may be the one I need.
