Here is a website for regions in France. The individual regions offer the earliest civil and parish records online:

http://www.archivesdefrance.culture.gouv.fr/ressources/en-ligne/etat-civil

(some regions require registration, others do not)

Thank you so very much.  Left a message e-mail and hope to gather early info on Michel Richard.  Having a little difficulty moving about Wikitree.  Is there some way I can see the Michel Richard tree and add my info to it  I put in my info, but can;t seem to figure out the next step.
