Alfred Mosher Butts, the inventor of Scrabble, was born this week (April 13) in 1899. He has a profile and plenty of sources (15), but he is a lonely island in the ocean of WikiTree profiles - he has no connections.  The sources list his wife, parents, and siblings.

Anyone interested in adopting this notable profile and connecting him to the tree?

I do not want to adopt the profile but I will create profiles for his parents and see about connecting them.

Well, I'm a Words With Friends enthusiast so I guess that counts.  I'll be happy to adopt the profile if you want me to.  Pat

I never heard of Words With Friends, Pat, so I had to look it up.  I'm sure Alfred would be happy to know that someone created a web-based word game on the principles of Scrabble.  His profile is your, if you want it.
