G2G: Can I re-submit a gedcom that has been modified in Mac Family Tree since I uploaded it?

After uploading my GEDCOM, I realized I had several date errors and a lot of Unknown entries.  I fixed a lot of these offline in MacFamilyTree and would like to upload this slimmed down GEDCOM to replace the one I uploaded earlier.

It's best that you don't do this because you will create duplicate profiles. I've found it is far easier just to change the existing wikitree profile than to upload another GEDCOM and then spend time merging the duplicates.

If the first GEDCOM has already been processed, then uploading a revised one is a bad idea; it'll only create duplicate records, which you'll then have to go through, merge, and clean up. It's better to fix the date errors and Unknowns by hand; that way, you can also add sources and make sure the profile's in good shape.

You are in luck Bob. Your gedcom RC Clover Family Tree.ged was only uploaded, and not imported and it's been deleted (I assume you did that), So just upload the new one. You might change the name a little just so you don't get confused.
