I am looking for the ancestry of my grandfather, Frederick Bausche, born in the north Rheinland in about 1865

He subsequently moved to London. I believe his father was called Josef and was a saddler; his mother Anna or Maria. Any help appreciated. He died in Germany in about 1924

He was born at Dahlerau near Luttringhausen on 20th February 1867, parents Josef and Anna.

Prussia did not have civil registration at that time. One would have to look at church books. I don't find much on-line which leaves you with contacting the churches directly to see where the mid-19th century church books are kept.

Dahlerau was about 1:2 catholic:protestant.
