What is the best thing to do with profiles of people that don't exist?

I adopted the profiles of 3 'sisters' who didn't exist.  What's the procedure for this type of thing? Do I leave them? Merge them with a same name? Re-orphan them?

Thank you.

I don't know id this is any help but it is all I could think of:

You could merge them into another female Howe or you could keep them available for when you need a Howe profile. Changing the sex would probably not be a problem.

You could also add Category:Recycle_Unknowns to them.

If they are likely to get recreated by an uninformed user then I'd keep them and add the {{questionable}} template with an explanation in the bio.
