Thank you!
This Thomas and Mary the Witch are my 8 th g grands, and I think I have this piece researched. Mary 1623-1662 The Witch last name is unknown, could be Needham, Brockett, or Bigod. She and Thomas had Sarah, my 7 th g g, who marries John Scoville. ( and 2 other kids). After she was hung, Thomas very quickly marries Mary Andrews, 1643-1708 has an Ebenezer, and Deacon Thomas. ( to separate him from others, I use Deacon, as he was Deacon of his church). There are more kids, but these names are easy to remember. This Thomas moved from Hartford  to Farmington Conn. Please correct any of this if you have other info.
Thank you.  That seems to match what I have found...that it wasn't Thomas of New Haven.

Do you know Thomas Barnes - 217 parents names? I got so frustrated, I removed them completely from my tree, and I am now missing a generation. Thomas 1591-1689?

Also, a descendant of Mary the Witch who married Thomas Barnes -217 wrote a book "My Grandmother was a Witch" but I have not been able to locate it. Anybody else ever hear of it?
My line begins with Thomas of New Haven, so I don't have much in my tree about the Thomas of Hartford or his family.  I do have a thick book written about the 'Hartford' Thomas and his family for sale.  I paid $80 for it and it is for sale for $40.  I might, also, have that other book you mention.  I will chec and see.

In my ancestry tree (Barnes Family Tree) I have Thomas Barnes 1591 listed as part of my line, however, the wiki tree genealogists have said that he shouldn't be included, so he is not in my wiki tree.  My ancestry tree is public, so you can find it there.  It's a public tree.

Today I will look for the other book you mentioned,
I have the book and the title is 'My Grandmother Mary was Hanged.'  The author is, Bernice Mable Graham Telian.  I would like to keep my copy, but maybe you can find it, now.  It mentions the Scovilles and the others you talked about.
Thanks, I am searching the Internet to see if anyone has a copy of the little book for sale, since I am certain of this lineage. Also, looking into Barking Essex records to see if I can find Thomas Hartford to Farmington baptism, or parents. I am glad there are people separating the three Thomas Barnes info online.
Somehow I misread this...you are willing to sell you book with Thomas Barnes 217 of Hartford CT? Sally
I have a book about Thomas of Hartford.  It is written by Fred Barnes.  I am willing to sell it for 40 dollars, but I have misplaced it.  I'm sure it is here and I will be cleaning and moving so I'm sure I will find it.  Shall I notify you when I do?  or you can send me your email address.
