No dates on gedcom

I just created a small gedcom (15 people) from my own rootsmagic database. and realized several of them have no dates - although I have dates in another word document.  Problem is I never got everything into one place.  IS THERE A WAY during Gedcompare to enter these empty spots before you submit or do I have to go back to my database, research my own documents to put them in the RM and then make another gedcom?  Small ged no problem and I won't do big ones again.  But I haven't got the real trick of creating a gedcom from RM and it can take a loongg time to get it right.  Still on a learning curve and want to most efficient process I can find.

As far as I know, there is no way to enter dates in the gedmatch files. If it were me, I would do a fresh gedcom.

That's my thought, as well.

If you've uploaded the gedcom already, you'll get a nag message from WikiTree when you upload the gedcom for a second time in a short period, but if you haven't imported anything from the gedcom you can ignore the mesage (the message reminds you not to import the same profiles twice).
Thanks to you both, guess I was hoping for some kind of reprieve.  Practice makes perfect!  Barb
