1. Upload the image to the free-space page. Use the "Images" tab and follow the directions

2. After upload you will be on the image page itself. You can return to this page by clicking on the image. On the right had side, towards the bottom look for:

Use Inside Text

To use this image inside the text of a profile (or free space page), try pasting this snippet of code into the bio/text section:

{{Image|file=
|caption=
}}

Yours will have the correct file name. There are further directions below for placements and a link to other parameters you can change.

And be sure to include the source of the image please.
Good point Jillaine. It should also be in the public domain or you own the copyright (meaning you took the photo/created the picture)

Hi Steven, The Quakers Project also has a "quaker star" available that you could add to profiles as well (if you are looking for a general image).

The Image page is here: http://www.wikitree.com/photo/png/Quaker_Project_Workspace-1

First "Add the person" by entering the profile ID, then you can "Set as Primary Photo" and it will show up for that profile.

Following Anne's example below, you can use this image in the body of profile by adding the following:

{{Image|file=Quaker_Project_Workspace-1.png
|caption=Quaker Star
}}

Hi Steven,  There is a project Free Space image at https://www.wikitree.com/photo/png/Quaker_Project_Workspace-5 that should be the primary image on all project spaces to make them easy to find.  If you require assistance adding it just drop me a note.
