Is Cornelia's descendant George Forsyth (from 1880 census) the same person as George Forsythe in the 1900 census?

Cornelia (Malsbury) Forsyth, wife of William Forsyth appears in this census record (1880) as the mother of a George Forsyth: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MN82-51G

A George Forsyth also appears in the 1900 census as a head of household: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M37Y-3QS

I have a fair amount of information on the latter George Forsyth and his descendants and I suspect that Cornelia and William are his parents--can anyone confirm or refute this? Also, obviously Malsbury-9 is the same Cornelia as in the 1880 census record I've linked, so she does have descendants who should be added to this profile, whether or not George Forsyth in 1900 can be linked to her.
