Ancestry DNA on SALE right now

Not a Question--Spreading DNA (LOL) testing

But If anyone is interested in taking a DNA test through ancestry.com it is on sale at $79.00 right now till Tuesday it says, normally $99 I believe.

If you need a DNA test it, I encourage you to look at the Family Tree sale.  Their Family Finder test (autosomal test) is on sale for $79 - same price as the Ancestry sale.  The major advantage I have found is in testing elderly relatives, who sometimes have difficulty producing enough saliva for the Ancestry DNA test.  The Family Finder test uses cheek swabs instead. 

Also, Family Tree offers the Y-DNA test kits (for your father's line) and the mtDNA kits (for your mother's line) - also on sale.  These tests are not sold by Ancestry.

Star, actually the FamilyFinder test at FamilyTreeDNA is on sale for $59 right now.  I bought four to use on cousins!

The reason I posted with regard to ancestryDNA is that some people would rather test through ancestryDNA, and then there are people (like me) who prefer to test with multiple sites for the best exposure.  I posted ten days ago on G2G with regard to the FTDNA sale...

I got it for $69...well + $10 shipping...I'm excited...I've been wanting to do it for a while now.  My son also wanted one, so I got him one too
