Thank You for the interest and help. I ask, what is your thoughts of this connection for Thomas Tipton to Manerva Moore that I have discovered recently.
1850 Yancy County, North Carolina Census Show a Thomas Tipton -27, married to a Sarah(Bailey) Tipton -28 with a 1 -year- old child Edward Tipton.
According to what I can find from other gen. research Sarah Tipton died abt.1856 location unknown and unable to confirm after having a total of 5 children with Thomas Tipton.
The possible link between THIS Thomas and Manerva Moore is the 1860 Washington County Tennessee Census. This census list Thomas Tipton -32, Manerva -21, Edward-11 (same age), Catharine -6, John -5, Abner -10 and Martha L. -4. The ages of the children would also confirm the 1856 death of Sarah and suggest Thomas married Manerva Moore after Sarah died.
If this is the Thomas Tipton that married Manerva Moore, Is he the son of Jacob Tipton and Elizabeth Randolph as some gen. researchers have suggested?
