I hope I have this in the right section. I am looking for a photo/screenshot of my father's birth certificate. He was born October 25, 1925. His name is Preston D. Butler. I have everything else on the Butler tree. He was born in Virginia.

His father is George D Butler

For something that recent you will probably need to order it.

It has always rumored that he did not have one. After checking your link it may be true. He was delivered by a midwife, off the farm (as we say in the mountains... thank you so much.
It's always possible that a delayed Birth Record was issued.  I've run into them a couple of tiimes in the lines I research.  This usually happens when a Birth Certificate is needed for identification, say when joining the military or getting a driver's license.
Thanks Dave Dardinger. I thought of that. But nothing.. I have found his military records and other things. It may not have been filed by the midwife.
