Why are "completed merges" showing up in "pending merges"?

I'm going thru the pending merges. I'm finding a large number of completed pending merges. Why is that?

There used to be a bug that caused some merges to not be removed from the pending list even though they were completed. This has been fixed, but there are still old completed merges on the list. If you can't remove them, you can send me a list of them (with both IDs) and I can remove them.

I am gradually going through all of these merges, site-wide, starting with the oldest, but it will be quite a while before they're all gone. I'm currently done up July 2011, and am working on August 2011.

Have you tried to refresh the page? Once that is done, they disappear from the feed.

This isn't an issue anymore. The bug this question was about was fixed a long time ago, and then a few months ago the remaining merges that were showing up when they shouldn't have been were cleared out.
My apologies Lianne, I was only answering Michelle's question.
No worries; I was just clarifying the issue. Sometimes it's confusing when old questions get bumped back to the top again.
