Tomorrow is the 400th anniversary of the death of poet/playwright, William Shakespeare-1. Thank you, Will, for your contributions to the literary world.
I was thinking that it would be nice to have an "Offer a Thought" section here to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries and deaths of people with profiles on the WikiTree. It would be really great if a list of names and profile IDs could be automatically produced for each calendar date, along the lines of http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:This_Day_In_History_April_23, but a little more automatic, and to memorialize non-famous WikiTree IDs. Can a list of IDs for each exact date be produced. I think it would encourage folks to mark their dates as exact and it would be a nice way to memorialize important dates.
Another great author and story. Thank you, Miguel de Cervantes (no WikiTree ID yet?)
400 years ago was a tough week for the literary world.
"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts ..." — As You Like It
Today we honor the 400th anniversary of your exit from life's stage. Thank you for your wonderful collection of plays and sonnets.
