It is the first info I have ever received on Arthur Hewitt's parents Arthur being my Grandfather, you are so efficient, thank you again.
There were a number of Arthur Hewitt's born in England, so if the birthday is right, 2 Aug 1893, that's good. This information was found at a free site  familysearch.org
Having checked the little info I have I think this is the wrong Arthur, I believe Arthur married my gm Annie Lythgoe Dec 1903 this could mean he maybe would have been born circa 1875 and having looked on FBMD there are as you say such lot of them, its a jungle trying to establish which is the accurate info. I have been doing my family tree for 13 years or more and have got back on my paternal side to the 1500's, its my maternal side Hewitts I would like to gain info on and this is where I am struggling.

I know of someone who was able to trace back several generations to the 1600's by using UK Parish Records. You may want to check this resource:

familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1&region=UNITED_KINGDOM_IRELAND

Have just had a quick look, shall I say it will take me some time, but as I am retired I can do that, trouble is it is so engrossing but rewarding as my parents died young  I was only a teenager, leaving we 3 sisters orphans, so I am researching for my children's roots and my sisters and their families.  Thank you again for your help
Look at the part family by Colin Westwood I think she may be on there x
