How do I handle a notable's information?

I know this notable's birth name since I know they's father but since they is living I don't think I should add they's birth name unless they have said it publicly but I don't know if they has said said it or not. They's last name is very common so looking up the birth name to see if they said it publicly didn't work. And I already tried looking up they's stage name to see if it also birth name anywhere and didn't find the name.  Basically I want to know if I should just leave birth name as anonymous since I don't want to add birth name unless it's been said publicly.

My initial reaction when I saw this the first time was that it was set up incorrectly.

However, upon further reflection and with consideration for the privacy of living persons, I would agree - Anonymous is the most accurate way of recording that there is a birth name, but it is not used to protect the privacy of the person in the profile. Thumbs up from me.

What should I put for their birth name then since I only know their actual birth name through their father? also is privacy not an issue with the last name of a notable that hasn't been said by them publicly if it's extremely common for example their last name even if you found out through knowing their father.

I would leave it as it is now - with anonymous as the birth name, until the name becomes known. If and when that happens, you can update the profile. I would not recommend violating the privacy of someone who chooses to remain anonymous.
