Hattie's mother Sarah Garner which married Henry? Lane in mid 1800's and lived in Leakesville, MS. After Hattie and Ed married they moved to Mobile, AL where my grandmother was born in the surrounding town of Chunchula in 1901, and her sister was born around the same time within five years before or after. The girls names are Edna Irene and Corinne Carroll. I was told Hattie became ill and died, but have never found death certificate after extensive search in many states. I was also told they divorced and my gggrandma, Missouri Turner Carroll, took and raised the girls. I would love to know what happened, to know if she had siblings, etc. I have searched for years to no avail.
