Why is my MtDNA test not linked to mother's mother.... ancestors that have profiles

First, I wish I could see my entire written question! Your little box only displays part of it. I do have a habit of leaving words out, so a chance to review might save everyone some agony.

Second, some history about my question. I have a tree that has several of my grandmothers along the MtDNA ancestry. In reviewing them I noticed in the box for DNA test (both y-DNA and MtDNA) some profiles list tests to others WikiTree members and some profiles state "no one has taken a test." Well, in some cases I have taken a test. It is confusing, and bit disheartening, to see that reference when I have been tested. I know WikiTree wants to a second test from another that matches. But still, I have taken a test and I think it would help others to decide to take he test if they see one test is a potential link. Also, If for some reason something does not match, it gives members a chance to collaborate to resolve the problem.

I can answer my own question! In comparing DNA descendants I found that there are TWO profiles. Evidently when importing my GEDCOM and/or adding a profile a second one was created. The existing profile is not connected to my tests! I will compare the two (and maybe in some cases there are more than two) and I will merge them (per the rules of WikiTree).

Good, I took a look and couldn't see anything wrong. I'm glad this is fixed.
