My (and my brothers' favorite was our next door neighbor Paul Rutter.  He liked to make up stories to tell us and sometimes one of us would do the same.  So what friend did you have long ago? I've added in Paul's profile, though I'm not entering the rest of his family nor any sources as I think his wife is still alive.

They were Dave, Chris, Dan, Mike, Carl and Larry. We liked to play touch football in the back yards. There were movies to go to. All three movie theatres that I went to as a kid are shut down. Would rather not provide full names of living people.

There were also card games, poker, canasta and also Monopoly. Poker was played for chips, not money.

Mine were Michele, Diana, Kim, and Amy. We were inseparable as young kids, then incorrigible as teens. I was the oldest and first to get my license. Freedom!! We did everything we weren't supposed to do times five. We may have gotten caught leaving school...driving with no hands...tailgating....going to my dads house late at night, climbing the fence, and getting in his pool (my dad was mayor and had regular patrols by his house- - cops tried to run us out until they saw which teeny in a bikini they were manhandling)...driving wrong ways UP interstate merging ramps....it's a wonder we all never got arrested or seriously hurt. And my favorite (though not with the girls, but with my brothers) was shooting bottle rockets into piles of cow poop, ice skating at midnight on the pond of the cranky old man up the road, and the ever present country favorite...cow tipping.

What is cow tipping?  :)
It is the completely false notion that you can go out into a field and push over sleeping cows. We never actually succeeded....we ended up mostly jumping off of hay bales, playing hide and seek,  and TP'ing barns.

TP'ing barns?

Toilet papering...rolling....I know, I know. I grew up in the sticks. There wasn't much to do for fun out there!
