Relationship of John Weston of Sharnden (c1540-1584) and John Weston of Inchreed (c1565-c1647) [closed]

Question

I've been looking into connections between the Westons of Sharnden in Mayfield parish and Inchreed in Rotherfield parish all in Sussex.  In particular any additional evidence of John Weston of Sharnden (Weston-2252) being the father of John Weston of Inchreed (Weston-2207).  I've already noted the descent of property at Darnefield, Bromeshot Well and Coggins Mill.  Can anyone help?

Sorry Chris, I haven't been able to find any more than you have already.

I did come across the Sussex OPC website and it has a few transcriptions of baptisms, marriages and burials from St Dunstan's, Mayfield from the late 1500s and early 1600s.  Nothing to assist with your question, but it did have the burial of John Weston on 09 May 1584.

It turned out later that John Weston of Sharnden is apparently the grandfather of John Weston of Inchreed and the painful road to that conclusion made it clear that sometimes it's best to "follow the money" (or, in this case, the real estate) when the BMD information grows unmanageably tangled!
