Hi fellow WikiTree addicts,

Are you from Tennessee?  Would you like to participate in the new Tennessee Project?  The Tennessee Project is a brand new sub-project of the United States History Project. I would be willing to take on Claiborne County. I have been researching families there since 1976.

My brother-in-law's family is from Roane County, so I have looked into the various records from Roane in the early-20th and late-19th century.  I'm not an expert on Roane (and have never even had the chance to visit Tennessee), but I could add some material to a Roane County page if there is any interest.

I wasn't born in Tennessee but it seems as though my roots run through Gibson county so I've gathered quite a bit of info.  I'll be glad to help you with that county; and, can probably spill over into Madison.

I'm also working with Deb Allison on the Census Image project, so I can make sure links to any relevant images can be placed on the county pages, if that will help.

Scott Couty was created in 1848 from parts of Campbell, Anderson, Fentress and Morgan counties. My roots go far back in the county, and surrounding counties; I would love to help.
