is my mom an utley? Does this mean im related to the Utleys

My Mom was an Utley I just found out

 Im  just a little stunned by this revelation. I have lost all of my family in the past few years and can not ask them about this paper work. . So I found some documentation is there anyway I can send it to you? I grew up knowing my Mom as Joyce Brewer, Her Father was Vernon Brewer VP of Cadillac in the 50s or 60s I think. Her Mom Lucy Brewer I guess. but in reality i guess she was born joyce utley but then adopted.

So this has been a bit of a bomb shell. I have some documentation but the hand writting is in script and very difficult to read. She was born JOYCE GLORIA UTLEY 8-14-32 in Warren Michigan I think ? hard to read.

But....I have known her my whole life as Joyce Brewer Schuster? My brother and I are a bit confused.

So if the UTLEY Birth Certificate is true then I have UTLEY as relatives correct? And the Utleys have my mom in their family tree. Which means they have me and my brother. Right

There were quite a few Joyce Utly's. Here are some and maybe one is the right one. Your mtDNA should be identical to that of your biological mother. If you have an mtDNA test, you can find out about your mother's too. My mother's mtDNA indicates that her ancestors had lived in England for a very long time.
