Seeking parents of Thomas Robbins (Robins) (1740-1786) who married Sarah Harnage (1750-1798)

Thomas Robbins ended up living in Screven Georgia.  He and Sarah were married in 1771 at the Ebenzezar Church in Effingham Georgia.  Many have tried to link this man to the famous Robins (e.g., Obedience) who lived on the Eastern Shore of Virginia but I cannot establish the link.  I've checked all the Screven records from the period.  Some say his father lived in VA; others say NC.  Sarah was born in Johnston County NC and her dad was probably George Harnage (1715-1806) - born in Northampton VA, died in Burke County GA and in 1756, lived in Duplin County, NC.

Hi Wayne,

Were you ever able to find the parents of Thomas Robbins?  If not, does he have profiles on WikiTree?

WikiTree profiles are usually one of the very first results to show up in searches like Google so they are a great way to make connections with other people researching the same person/line.

Just a suggestion! :)

P.S. If he does have a  profile and you still would like help searching for Thomas' parents you might want to include the link to Thomas' profile so others can find him. Thanks!

Is this the same Thomas Robbins who had a son named Charles born ca June 1800 in Russell County VA?   Charles died September 13, 1857 and is buried in the Robbins Chapel Cemetery in Lee County VA.  The notes I have show Thomas married to E...  which may be Elizabeth Robinson.  That is all the info I have.  Maybe it will help???
