looking for info on John C. Lamb

My name is Dana.  I found a crate in an old Omaha, NE hotel.  It is addressed to Capt. John C. Lamb.  It was sent to him at the Colonial Hotel from Berlin and contained household goods according to the inspection tag.  The date on the tag is 17-11-65, November 17, 1965.  I am curious about the history of the crate and also thought it might be of interest to the Capt or his  family.

Do have any more info on him? I don't really know how to find his family or the history of the crate but you may try one of the local libraries. But considering the date there may not be anything in the library. You could call the county clerk and ask any records on him. I checked on Find A Grave and didn't find anything. Pretty cool about the crate!! Wish you the best of luck!
