How do I edit a weird entry to my line?  I'd enter two male family lines and when I went in to add info found that somehow two men who are my line were listed as married????  I didn't do this and if I edit this will it go back to the entries that I originally entered?  There's a lot of work if it deletes the info.

You would need to give us the ID for the two profiles so they can be compared. Yes you can edit them if they are both open profiles or you are the manager for both profiles and no info will be removed that you do not remove or enter for the profile(s). Be sure and click save after editing the profiles. I see the profile for Robert Weeks (Weeks-1558) is a open profile so any Wiki genealogist can do a edit.

Weird indeed.  I deleted http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Crawford-5533 as the husband of http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Weeks-1558.  Maybe someone thought Dee was a woman?  Or maybe there was a weird merge?  Anyway, they are now separated.

Adiene,

If you find serious issues with editing (by others) of profiles you manage, they can be restored very easily. Click on the “Changes” tab and then locate the “offending” edit. When you look at the page showing the specific changes you will find near the top, (unfortunately in rather small print), this tool to return the profile to its original state:

If serious mistakes were made, you can restore data from as it was 12:50, 12 October 2013.

One click and you’re back!

I did as you instructed, it shows I edited Haley Madison Weeks (removed him from Dewitt "Dee" Crawford's children but it it still listed.  I even reloaded.  Now what?

Adiene,

I am having trouble understanding what you are saying.  You say  “... but it it still listed.”

Can you explain what "it" is, that is still listed?

I cannot see any connection now between Haley Madison Weeks and Dee Crawford, or any connection between the Weeks and Crawford families.

If you are seeing something different, I can only suggest you log out of Wikitree, restart your computer, and login again to see if there is still a problem.
