Titanic Project - Ideas for excitement/collaboration?

Question

Hi Titanic Project Members (and any potential Titanic project members),

I'm writing to ask what your thoughts are concerning the Titanic project - specifically on how we can generate excitement and interest in completing our goals. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated.

As an example, I was wondering if in addition to individual projects - would any of you be interested in collaborative projects as well (for example, we could focus on a specific set of people for a month or something? like a lifeboat per month? or a specific family?)

If you would all prefer to just stay in individual projects, that's okay - just trying to get a feel for what you all are interested in doing :)

I adopted a passenger hoping to get her connected to the tree as part of the connected project. We could take one passenger once in awhile and ask for help  to connect them to the big tree as a challenge (-:

Hi Luci,

I haven't been an active member, but I did check in a few weeks ago and was impressed by the charts on the project page. I volunteered to work on J. Bruce Ismay's profile and had a grand old time. I'll continue to work on individual profiles. The charts make it easy to pick and choose, so I would encourage others to take a look if you haven't visited the project for a while. I also just found out that one of the survivors is buried in our local cemetery, so will add his profile and a photo when I have a minute.

I have volunteered to take care of Thomson Beattie. I have been doing a lot of research and have already added sources and ancestors for him.

i have requested to join this project due to my distant cousin but have noticed the project co-ordinator has not been on for a while so still have not got a badge

does anyone know if she is ok as she hasnt been on for a bit and can anyone else give badges in her absent
