James Brookshire real or phantom

Question

In trying to authenticate family members I can't seem to find much on James Brookshire (1720-1790), son of James Brookshaw/Brookshire(1690-1750) and Sarah Mannering(1692-1750).

Any help would be appreciated. Is he an error or  was he a real person?

Thanks for looking but this James died on 1790 and could not be on the 1800 census. The one you have found could possibly be the son of William 1756-1836
