I have test results from 2 other DNA tests; most recently from 23andme. My question is, can I add that for ancestry DNA-Ancestors?

Hi Valerie,  All DNA test information must go on the actual test participant's profile.  If Sinai Quick was the actual test participant, meaning her autosomal DNA cells were used for the test, then, yes you can add to her profile.  If she was not the test participant, you can not add this information to her profile.

Instead, you should add the test to the participant's profile and check that the connections to Sinai's profile have been made.  WikiTree will add the appropriate notation on her profile based on the information on her descendant's profile.  If the test participant is not a descendant of Sinai, then the notation will not be added to her profile.

From the tags on her question, I infer that Valerie may want this profile to show the MTDNA haplogroup for this person, as determined by the testing of a maternal line descendant. Wikitree doesn't show this data, due to a misconception that has been propagated here regarding 23andMe haplogroup data.

There are a couple other G2G discussions active at the moment regarding this topic -- and reasons for changing the Wikitree policy that ignores 23andMe haplogroups.
