All info I have is unsourced (newspaper only) Lieut Henry Hough was attached to 83rd Rgt. of Foot  in Ceylon - later the Pioneer Corps -1815-1829, involved with road works and surveying. Married Mary Ann Braham in Colombo 1818, and died at Dalpekade-warre sometime before March 1825. Wanting any info on education (was he a surveyor?) , children of marraige ? ... anything.

There is an entry for the Hough family in   thepeerage.com   citing sources and indicating an emigration to New Zealand for some.   Click on Surnames, click on H, arrow down to  HOUGH.,click.  Henry is listed without dates but your information is there about John James and the reverend who are also listed. Click on each name for the individual  'CARDS"  TO COME UP.
