Every year, since 1945, on the 4th of May we honor and remember those who lost their lives for our freedom, by being silent for two minutes at 20.00 hour CET in the Netherlands.
Elk jaar, sinds 1945, op de 4de mei eren wij allen die hun leven gegeven hebben voor onze vrijheid door twee minuten stil te zijn om 20.00 uur CET in Nederland.
On the 5th of May we celebrate our liberation: Liberation Day.
Op de 5de mei vieren we onze bevrijding: Bevrijdingsdag.
On behalf of this we have a very special Challenge for you!

The Dutch Roots LIBERATION DAY/BEVRIJDINGSDAG Challenge!!!!!!
One of our biggest and most famous heroes of WW-II is our “Soldaat van Oranje” (Soldier of Orange). And he had not a profile yet at our WikiTree!
Een van onze grootste en bekendste helden van de 2e Wereldoorlog is onze “Soldaat van Oranje”. En hij had nog geen profiel op onze WikiTree!
The challenge is to add as many sourced ancestors, with at least two good sources for every new profile!!!!, as possible to Eriks familytree. Every info with a (reliable) source added is a point.
De challenge is om zoveel mogelijk familieleden toe te voegen, met minstens twee goede bronnen voor elk nieuw profiel!!!!!! voor Erik’s stamboom. Elke info met een (betrouwbare) bron is een punt.

Why a challenge? Just because it is fun! As we worked together before at one aim we noticed we had a lot of fun and working with profiles with brick walls or just hanging there, not finished, because of lack of time is done fast together.
The order of posting is the order of arrival.
The challenge starts today date WikiTree stylish: 2016-05-03 at noon (12.00) GMT time. The challenge ends Monday 2016-05-09 at noon GMT time.
WikiTree is uploaded every 24 hours. But it takes a bit before the massal data is uploaded. Sometime it take about 48 hours before we can really see who the winner is! So please be a little patient.
Who oh who is going to win the badge!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a commen badge eh :D , but the Dutch_Roots Challenge Badge!!!!!!!!!!!!!
