Are Gervais du Tremblay b. 1425 & Gervais du Tremblay B. 1440 the same person?

I seem to get different info on the same ancestor.  Gervais dit Baron du Tremblay born 1440 & Gervais du Tremblay "sieur de Gallion" born 1425. Confusing in research information. They both seem to be parent to Jacque but Gervais du Tremblay "Sieur de Galleon"  (abt.1425) seems to be the parent of Gervais dit Baron du Tremblay. (bef. 1460). Can you help me discover the answer to this.

I don't know of any documentation before the ancestry of Gervais du TREMBLAY, d. c. 1486/90 in France, if you find it please let me know.  The main sources are: LES TREMBLAY, by Patrick Chevassu, (Editions Tremblay, Montreal, 1981) for the history of this area and family, with extracts of various documents, and LA TREMBLAYE MILLENAIRE, by Paul Mederic, vols. 1 & 2, (Editions Garneau, Quebec, 1975).  For a genealogy of the family (13 generations see: http://www.genealogywise.com/group/frenchcanadiandescendants/forum/topics/the-tremblay-family .  Additions / corrections appreciated, thanks.

I am very much a novice in researching genealogy.  Answer to my question about Gervais du Tremblay was not of help.  Also I have documentation on Bernard du Tremblay b.abt. 1100 & Bernard Gauthier d'apres du Tremblay b. 1134.  Then it jumps generations to Gauthier du Tremblay 1377. All I am trying to do is get a direct blood line to my grandfather, George Lawrence Trombley b. 1879 d. 1948. I think I have it but need to clear up a few questions.

As I stated there is no documentation for the ancestry of Gervais du TREMBLAY, the only two sources of the early TREMBLAY genealogy is in the two books I mentioned.  I have seen several genealogies posted on the which extend back to Bernard du TREMBLAY / du DRAMLEY (some info here) but no one posted any documentation.  There are other early TREMBLAY lines but there is no connection that I know of.  There is a TREMBLEY line out of Switzerland (book on that, but forget the title). If you come across anything, please let me know.
