Where do I add information for genealogists?

Hey, I'm doing a lot of genealogical work on Virginia. I have a chart that tells you which Virginia counties were divided up into other counties. It's a tree diagram that's very easy to use.

Here's an example: Northumberland County was founded in 1645 gave birth to Lancaster in 1651 and Westmoreland 1653.

Lancaster gave birth to Rappannock (1656-1692), and Middlesex in 1669.

And so on and so on. Where can I put this so others can use it? So, for example, if you have an ancestor who, in 1647 lists his place of residence as Northumberland and then you see his grandson lists his residence as being Richmond County in 1700, you would think the family moved, but that's not true. Where they lived was called Richmond county starting in 1692.

Sounds like a great resource, Wanda!

Let us know when you have it online!!
I've added the document that shows the old counties and how they have changed over the years.

I keep seeing things where they indicate the person was from Henrico and then I realize now that all of Goochland, Chesterfiefld, Albemarle, Cumberland, Amherst, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Powhatan, and Nelson an even Appomattox used to all be in Henrico.

You can make a Free Space page with your tree diagram, and then add links to it within applicable profiles. A link to the page on your own profile would also be a place to let others know about it. Sound like a useful tool indeed!
