Missing Connections in GEDcompare

+6 votes
Hi, I am working on a GEDcompare report for import and I have found that there are some people in my tree that are matching to existing people in Wikitree, but I would rather connect them to other people in wikitree. This is sounding confusing.

A specific example is that there are two people who have existing matches in wikitree, but there is only one parent on these people's listings. Both parents are listed in Wikitree, with better/more accurate information, but the children I have are not among what is listed. What happens if I match these two to the existing records (that have incomplete parent information), and match the parents I have in my GEDcompare report to the other records that are more accurate/complete?

How would other people address this issue? I can see multiple options.
