Did someone approve the merge on May 1st? That's the time stamp currently displayed on the merge.
Default approval occurs 30 days after the last action on the proposed merge. That means that any action on a proposed merge (including approval by a PM for one profile) resets the clock on the merge.
From past G2G discussions, I've come to understand that when this was set up, the staff assumed that the person proposing a merge would normally be on the trusted list for one of the two profiles, so the only other possible actions would be (1) approval for the other profile (in which case the merge could be done) and (2) action to stop the merge (either deferral or rejection). Unfortunately, that assumption isn't true. Many merges are proposed by people who don't have authority to approve a merge for either profile -- so when a manager for one profile approves a merge, it can reset the clock for default approval on the other profile.
